I was born on the east side of Buffalo, New York. I have two brothers and a sister. I graduated from St. John Kanty’s grammar school and Seneca vocational high school. I served four years in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972 and four years in the Air Force reserves from 1981 to 1985.

I am married have four stepchildren and eight beautiful grandchildren.

I worked three years at the Prudential (Guarantee) building in downtown Buffalo, 10 years at a machine shop in South Buffalo, 22 1/2 years at the Niagara Falls Air Force Base as a crash rescue firefighter, and presently work part time at my church in facilities.

I am a Christian.
